Role Overview 

The Professional Services Sales Specialist is an entry-to-mid level, client-facing sales role responsible for growing LexRight’s professional services revenue within law firms and legal departments. 

You will engage prospective and existing clients to sell onboarding and implementation services, workflow automation projects, training and adoption programs, and ongoing managed services. A meaningful portion of compensation is commission-based and tied directly to sales performance. 

Services You Will Sell 

  • Case management platform onboarding and implementation 

  • Configuration of matters, templates, automations, and reporting 

  • Data migration from legacy systems 

  • Attorney and paralegal training programs 

  • Process optimization for intake, calendaring, billing, and documents 

  • Ongoing managed services and system administration 

  • Enhancement projects and integrations 

Key Responsibilities 

Sales & Revenue Growth 

  • Identify and qualify opportunities within law firms and legal departments 

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand workflows and pain points 

  • Position LexRight services as solutions to legal practice challenges 

  • Develop proposals, scopes, and pricing with delivery teams 

  • Own the sales cycle through signed statement of work 

  • Meet or exceed revenue targets 

Consultative Selling 

  • Speak credibly with paralegals and attorneys about intake, matters, billing, and deadlines 

  • Translate client needs into service solutions 

  • Educate prospects on ROI of implementation and managed services 

Account Development 

  • Expand existing client relationships through additional projects 

  • Partner with delivery teams to identify upsell opportunities 

  • Support account planning and QBRs 

Qualifications 

Required 

  • 1–5 years experience in professional services or SaaS sales, legal technology, or law firm operations 

  • Strong communication skills with ability to engage attorneys 

  • Ability to learn legal workflows and translate into solutions 

  • Organized and goal-oriented 

  • Interest in commission-based earning potential 

Preferred 

  • Experience with case management platforms such as Neodeluxe, Filevine, Clio, or Litify 

  • Background as paralegal or legal assistant supporting technology 

  • Experience selling implementation or managed services 

  • Familiarity with CRM tools 

Compensation Structure 

  • Competitive base salary
