About LexRight, Inc.

LexRight helps law firms and legal departments get more value from their legal technology investments. We specialize in case management system implementation, workflow design, process automation, data migration, training, managed services, custom legal-specific AI solutions, and ongoing system optimization.

Our team understands how legal work actually gets done. Many of our consultants have backgrounds as paralegals, legal assistants, legal operations professionals, or legal technology specialists. We combine that practical legal experience with technical implementation expertise to help firms adopt systems that attorneys, paralegals, and staff can actually use.

Role Overview

LexRight is seeking a Legal Solutions Sales Consultant to grow our professional services business with law firms and legal departments in the Chicago market and beyond.

This is a client-facing, consultative sales role for someone with at least 3 years of sales experience, preferably selling into the legal industry. The ideal candidate understands how law firms evaluate technology, how attorneys and legal operations teams make decisions, and how implementation, training, workflow improvement, AI-enabled process improvement, and managed services can solve real operational problems.

You will sell services related to case management system implementation, legal workflow consulting, process automation, data migration, training, adoption, integrations, custom legal-specific AI solutions, and ongoing managed services. This role is best suited for someone who can speak credibly with attorneys, paralegals, firm administrators, legal operations leaders, and technology stakeholders.

Services You Will Sell

LexRight’s services include:

  • Case management system onboarding and implementation

  • Workflow design and process optimization

  • Configuration of matters, templates, automations, reporting, and dashboards

  • Data migration from legacy systems

  • Attorney, paralegal, and staff training

  • Intake, calendaring, billing, document, and task workflow improvement

  • Managed services and ongoing system administration

  • Enhancement projects, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Custom legal-specific AI solutions designed around law firm workflows, document processes, intake, matter management, and operational use cases

  • Legal operations consulting and technology adoption support

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Identify, qualify, and develop opportunities with law firms and legal departments

  • Build relationships with attorneys, firm administrators, paralegal leaders, legal operations teams, and technology decision-makers

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand current systems, workflows, pain points, and business goals

  • Position LexRight’s services as practical solutions to legal operations and technology adoption challenges

  • Develop proposals, scopes, and pricing in partnership with LexRight’s delivery team

  • Own the sales process from initial conversation through signed statement of work

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecast, and activity tracking in CRM

Consultative Legal Sales

  • Speak credibly about legal workflows such as intake, matter management, calendaring, billing, documents, deadlines, reporting, and attorney/paralegal collaboration

  • Help prospects understand the ROI of proper implementation, adoption, automation, AI-enabled solutions, and managed services

  • Translate client needs into practical service offerings

  • Identify when a client needs consulting, implementation support, system optimization, training, custom AI solutions, or ongoing managed services

  • Represent LexRight as a knowledgeable, trusted advisor rather than a transactional vendor

Account Development

  • Expand existing client relationships through additional projects and managed services

  • Partner with delivery teams to identify follow-on opportunities

  • Support account planning, client check-ins, and business reviews

  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients and referral partners

  • Help LexRight build market presence in the Chicago legal community

Qualifications

Required

  • At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably selling to law firms, legal departments, or legal technology buyers

  • Strong discovery, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to understand client workflows and translate business needs into service solutions

  • Organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing a sales pipeline

  • Comfortable with a compensation structure that includes meaningful commission-based upside

  • Located in or able to sell into the Greater Chicago legal market

  • Familiarity with platforms such as Neostella, Filevine, Clio, Litify, SmartAdvocate, MyCase, or similar legal case management systems

  • Existing relationships within law firms, legal departments, legal operations groups, or legal technology networks

  • Background working in or around law firms, including legal operations, paralegal work, firm administration, or legal technology support

  • Experience selling services that require scoping, implementation planning, or coordination with delivery teams

  • Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales processes

Compensation

LexRight offers a competitive compensation structure that includes:

  • Base salary

  • Commission on new services revenue

  • Commission on expansion revenue from existing clients
